Fullview please!
Medium: pencil, black ballpoint pen and PS7 (digital camera for the Minas Tirith miniature in the background).

This is for Greykitty, for being the 1000th pageviewer! Thank you very much! Hannon le ^_^ It's Boromir and Faramir sharing a drink together, based on a quote from the book: "between the brothers there was great love, and had been since childhood when Boromir was the helper and protector of Faramir." (Appendix A: Gondor and the Heirs of Anarion, pg 413)
I was illustrating the bond they have between each other as brothers. I've also somewhat made them look similar to each other, and I purposefully made Boromir stand behind Faramir because he's protecting his little brother.
My first fanart that includes Boromir/Sean Bean! (besides the comics) What d'ya think? Does he look like Boromir? His costume was UBER fun to colour! :D The details up close look pretty vague, but far away, it really does look like I took the time to draw the embroidery. You oughta really see the full version. There are tiny, tiny details on this that won't be seen far away (just like the real costume ^_^)
This took a LONG time to do. A good many hours of two days. But overall, it turned out quite well. I had my doubts during the black and white stage, but once I got the hang of PS7, and its features, it looks much better. I could use more practise with computer rendering, and this is a start.

Yay!! I'm sooo glad you love it! ^____^ And I loved making it too, it was fun drawing and colouring this! You're very welcome! :D
Ehehe! "^^ Aaah yes, poor wittle Bormy being pelted by soo many arrows. On the other hand, that's the BEST heroic death ever. All warriors would be jealous of such a glorious, magnificent death. And 'sides long as he gets his chips in between cameras rolling, he'll be fine >_^
Thank you very much! ^_^ Colouring in PS7 makes things waaay easier (hooray for the colour-dropper) The hair was uber fun to colour. I was like, "Weeh! Highlights, higlights!"
It looks very good! You've caught the brothers' likenesses (movie-wise, anyway) really wonderfully, and it's such a nice thought of them having a good time before the elder Boromir was killed. :fave:!

Aw... that's so sweet. :) Nicely done, I think, and great quote to base it off of as well. You did well making them look like the movie actors, even a bit more alike that those (even though they don't look alike anyways...). Yes, I think he looks like Sean Bean. :) I would have known who it was.

:heart:Best Comic Ever:heart:
Yes, it does look like Sean Bean and David Wenham. It makes me all sad though because I really liked Boromir and you're right that he has one of the best deaths. The detail you put on their outfits is spectacular. Faramir's face looks a wee bittle too round for him in the cheeks, but he's grinning big, so who am I to say? ;) You have great skill in representing the movie and books justifiably.
